Annual Operations of RWB Chapters

The members need to conduct the following events regularly:

  1. Robotzindia - This is a National Level Robotics Competition run for school children, which can be extended to the college students also on demand. Interesting problem statements are given to the students and they build robot as a solution that could solve the problem. www.robotzindia.com
  2. Premier League- An annual Robot sports edition for schools, colleges, corporate and Industries. A 5 on 5 football championship league. www.robotPL.com
  3. RAAIF Talks- This would be a seminar type event where the guests invited by the members will include entrepreneurs, innovators, scientists and other distinguished personalities. They can be chosen based on the topic for the Talk. This can be done on a quarterly basis with different topics and mode of media for each talk. e.g. podcast, webinar, conference, etc.
  4. Robo Expo - Robotics exhibits for schools and colleges. Working prototypes will be displayed. Generally this is done as a parallel event along with the Robotzindia.
  5. Workshops - Conducted for the benefit of school children. The motivation behind the workshop is to encourage school kids, especially underprivileged ones, to pursue robotics and other sciences. This can be a monthly effort, with one school being targeted every month.
  6. Conduct robotics conferences - in your city. AI and IOT topics to be included.
  7. Robotics based Hackathon. This can be a special event since there has not been any particular event in the genre.
  8. The chapter would also encourage social benefit projects even if they are not technology based. An NGO may be operated under the guidelines of RAAIF whose task will be working for some social cause.
  9. Core companies sponsoring the chapter have indicated that the members would be provided with problem statements to work on. Each member is expected to participate in at least one such project.
  10. Indian Robot Film Festival - A vibrant film carnival which focusses on bringing robot-featuring films to lime light, created by robotics-fascinated minds.

Since the above events require some amount of work there is no point in planning more events without having the members aid funding to operate. Further targets will be revised based on efforts of the chapter.
